Refund Policy

This policy explains when refunds are available for Bizmart Premium purchases and how to request one.

1) Who this policy applies to

This Refund Policy applies to purchases of Bizmart Premium made through the Bizmart checkout. Bizmart Core (free) has no purchase price and therefore no refunds.

2) How to request a refund

To request a refund, contact us at [support@your-domain.com] and include:

  • Your purchase email (the one used at checkout)
  • Your site URL (optional but helps troubleshooting)
  • The reason for the refund request
  • Any screenshots/logs that explain the issue (optional)

If you purchased via subscription, you can also use the customer portal provided by Freemius to manage cancellations.

3) Eligibility

A) Eligible cases

  • You request within [X days] of the initial purchase.
  • The plugin does not function as described and we cannot resolve it within a reasonable time.
  • Duplicate purchase (accidental double checkout), verified by transaction records.

B) Not eligible (common examples)

  • Change of mind after the refund window ends.
  • Issues caused by third-party themes/plugins or server limitations, where Bizmart itself is working correctly.
  • Misconfiguration (tax/currency/cost data) that leads to inaccurate reports, when fixable via settings.
  • Requests without any purchase record or verifiable checkout email.

4) Trials

If your plan includes a free trial, you can cancel during the trial to avoid being charged (as shown in checkout). Trial rules and billing dates are shown during checkout and in the Freemius customer portal.

5) Subscriptions, renewals & cancellations

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. Canceling stops future renewals but does not automatically refund previous charges unless the request qualifies under this policy or applicable law.

6) How refunds are processed

Approved refunds are processed through Freemius and their payment providers. Processing times depend on your payment method and bank, usually within a few business days.

7) Taxes and fees

If taxes (VAT/GST) were collected, refunds may include taxes depending on local requirements and the payment provider rules. Payment provider fees may be non-refundable in some regions (where allowed by law).

8) Abuse prevention

To prevent abuse, we may refuse refunds in cases of repeated refund requests, license sharing, or misuse of the product.

9) Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
